Today we celebrated Joshua's First Holy Communion. He has been so excited and counting down the days. It was so fun to see all the kids dressed up. They all looked darling and it was such a nice Mass. We went up with him when he got the bread and wine so I don't have a picture, but they had a photographer taking pics. We will have that soon. Congratulations buddy!
.
Here they are walking in. No he is not that short, they put him with the tallest girl in all of second grade.
.
Father McHugh serviced the Mass- he was one of my teachers at Judge Memorial.
.
Joshua was one of the readers for the Prayers of the Faithful. He did great!
.
Thank goodness for Aunt Amber, Grandma Pam and Grandpa John for helping us with our little busy bee!
.
This banner shows all the dates of all the sacrements he has completed. The candle is his Baptism, the lamb is his First Reconciliation, and the chalice is his First Communion.
.
They sang a very cute song at the end, His banner over me is love.
.
It was a beautiful day!! Thank you to all of our family that was able to share in this special day with us.
